Millennium Goals in Pakistan

Government in Pakistan is failing on Millennium Goals. Drinking water in most areas of the country is contaminated and cause of increasing death rate. Food security is jeopardized due to poor management of water resources in at least three provinces. Most of the funds allocated for water have disappeared into the pockets of corrupt bureaucracy. Although new civilian government is issuing press statements to help the deteriorating situation but SDAWP doesn't see any positive change in the near future.

Future of Internet in Muslim world

Despite difficulties interactive facility will prevail at the end. Today’s Muslim world is ruled by secrets of the state. Internet is virtually owned by state. Similarly in communist countries no individual is allowed to visit a site of his choice. State defines what one should see and what one can’t see. At the end state sponsored business communities alone are allowed to increase their wealth with prepayment facility. Transparency and accountability is only possible if our political leadership is present on internet provide online response to their followers.
